Jewellery designer Clare Stiles designs and makes contemporary Jewellery in anodised aluminum. From her studio in The Farnham Maltings in Surrey, England, she also teaches workshops, undertakes jewellery design commissions, designs jewellery prototypes, develops projects and curates. Clare stiles is the Author of ‘Anodized! Brilliant Colors & Bold Designs for Aluminum Jewelry’, a new book by Lark Publishers.
Clare Stiles’ jewellery using silkscreen, digital and graphic design is exhibited and sold at galleries and contemporary craft fairs throughout the UK and Ireland. In 2006 Clare Stiles received an Arts Council England Research Grant and a CIBAS Funding Award for Research.
Clare Stiles is a member the Association of Contemporary Jewellers, a registered maker with the British Crafts council and a founder member of JSN (jewellers and silversmiths network). Clare Stiles gained her degree in Three-dimensional design in metalwork from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design (now UCA) and attended the Reigate School of Art and Design, East Surrey College.
